Welcome...

My name is Michelle (32), I am the owner and pretty much sole employee of Lineman Love Supply Co. I absolutely love and take so much pride in what I do. It's truly a labor of love! I recently quit the bartending job (that put me through college) after 10 years so I could focus all my energy on building this company. Some days are hard and I definitely stop and question what I'm doing,  but then I think about all the amazing people I've been able to connect with, all the friendships I've built and how many people have stopped and asked me what my hats or shirt "meant".  Proud Linewife is an understatement! I know the hard work, dedication, risk and passion that goes into what these guys do on a daily basis. And the sacrifices, worry and stress that comes along with being a linewife.  So when I get to explain to someone at the post office or grocery store what my company represents and it opens their eyes to what these guys do, its a little victory for me. I hope that next time they are without power they will stop and think about the people out working in all types of conditions before they bitch about not being able to charge their iPhone.

Many of you know at this point, but for those that don't I am married to  a second generation Journeyman Lineman. We live in beautiful Colfax California (gods country) with our two puppies, Drake and Pepper (both American bulldog/ pittbull mix) Pepper is a rescue, and since we are huge dog lovers I try and donate as much as I can to our local shelter/ rescue group.

Anthony's  grandfather worked Hydro as well as his Uncle, His Father worked as a Lineman most of his career and retired as a GC crew foreman. His older brothers are a Substation Electrician and General Foreman.  My grandfather worked for ladwp and is still a proud ibew member and my brother (technically brother in law)  is in his 4th year of his apprenticeship... so you can say it's kind of the family business :)

In the late 1980's my in-laws started a company called D&L LINEMAN SUPPLY. They sold tools, boots, hooks, belts and various other equipment as a mail order company. My mother in law Linda, while raising 3 crazy boys; designed apparel and the belt buckles I still sell this day, and ran the company. I don't know how she did it, I have a lot to look up to!

The original buckles were made the exact same way they are made today, even by the same company in Oklahoma. The original ones were numbered and I now have the ledgers my MIL kept that show exactly where each numbered buckle was heading. I have had Lineman reach out to me with pictures of their almost 30 year old buckle, some of these buckles have been worn everyday, some passed down to different generation of Linemen. Over the last 3 years I have sold over 500 of these solid brass belt buckles, They've been worn on wedding days, given as top out and retirement presents and are proudly worn by many all over the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe and Germany. It brings me so much pride to know our family tradition has become a part of another families traditions.

Every item I design comes from my personal trial and error. I create items that are simple, that show my pride for my Lineman without being obnoxious. My style is an odd mix ofcowgirl, hipster, IDK what to call it?! I like mixing different styles and comfort is key to me. But like any girl I like to look cute, whether I'm out running errands or on a rare date night with my Lineman. That's why I've designed comfy items with a little bit of gold and glitz.

Building my new website has been a challenge and is still a work in progress. Our men's line is slowly being released as I'm trying to get each item perfected. I hope to introduce some new kids and baby items as well. Be patient with me as am the sole employee of this little company. I'm fortunate enough to get help from friends and family, but on the day to day its just me. I carry every item in house, print and package every order that comes through daily and try my hardest to ship out same day if possible. To me little touches me a lot, I hope that conveys in each note I write and our fun packaging. I will never oversell items and I try my hardest to keep every style/ size in stock. I try and run sales and promotions often, so be sure to follow us on facebook and Instagram so you stay in the loop. I love working with various organizations and charities and donate as much as I can. one of the best parts of running is this company is that its given me the opportunity to give back, which means so much to me.

If there is ever a question that you have or a suggestion I am always here and appreciate any input.

Meeting you all has been the greatest part of this business, I have made friends and our Linefamily has grown from coast to coast. I have had the privilege of meeting some of you, but others I feel like we are old friends yet we've never met. What I've learned is that no matter what happens I have this amazing community, this Linefamily to count on. Its an incredible feeling! As I always say, "it's a rare breed" and I'm forever thankful to be a part of it!

Thank you for your continued support!

Stay Safe Always-

Michelle
